yea. Metal compared to Alternative/punk. really odd to compare. Besides, Slipknot would win but i also love the Offsprings. But the top two bands would be Metallica and Dream Theater. not only in metal but in music. check those two out and you'll be hooked. well, i know you heard Metallica(who hasn't lol) but check DT.

Haha slipknot and the offspring are my two most favourite bands. yes they are different indeed but both incredibly good music styles.

There's no way you can compare slipknot to the offspring... they're two completely different bands with different styles. I listen to them both and I find them good in each their genre.
