"What's the song John starts to sing at the end?" "O' Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling..." It's an Irish song written about 1910 (actually by an Englishman named Frederick E. Weatherly who had never set foot in Ireland!) and based on an older, traditional Irish melody. Go to any bar on St. Patricks's Day in the U.S. and you'll hear it sung.

Clapton doesn't play the solo for "Something" on the Concert for George video. It's the chap who stands behind Paul, I forget his name, wearing the funny hat. He played with George at some point.

no he didn't mate. the only Beatles song Eric Clapton played on was the lead part of 'while my guitar gently weeps' and that was at the request of George Harrison.

What a cool thing to do. I love "I've got a feeling" and "Don't Let Me Down." Definitely two of my favorite Beatles' songs. Why does it look like John is playing the lead guitar in most of these songs though?
