Good question--my mom knew Ben Davis--a great man! He is slandered almost as much as Robeson.

Robeson, forever in our hearts

Robeson was one of the great American heroes, a giant in the arts, social and political activism, sports, and popular culture. The US government did their best to silence him, but his voice resounds loudly for just the price of seeking it out. Viva Robeson!
