i'm not talking about composing a song...i'm talking about playing it. it's a beautifully composed song and fun to play...but once you learn the technique then you'll realize what i'm saying. don't be an asshole.

Its a partial capo, he can make it press any number of strings on the fret. At the part that starts around 0:31 he uses it for keeping a higher bass note so he can worry about the 3 buttom strings without having to put a finger on the 6. string. Go to his FAQ video for more info though.

most classical players use all 5 fingers... but he doesnt use all 5 fingers all the time

Well he had a classical training so I seriously doubt that he's using 5 fingers to pick.But that's only my opinion.
