no its 3.8% for Linux not "24%" however 100-86 is 14, I'm no longer having this discussion with you, its apparent that you are not thinking about what you are saying by your simple maths error, instead your just trying to prove a point you haven't yourself thought through, like i said a while ago now, which you have ignored, the sheer number of people using windows is why there are so many viruses out there for it, which your simple arithmetic shows. No matter what you tell me to google or read, what costs you bring to my attention or how many desktops the German foreign ministry uses you cannot ignore the simple fact shown by the statistics, which is what I'm arguing, Linux only accounts for 3.8% of OS usage recorded compared to 86%+ of windows xp+vista if it was so fantastic and yummy and scrumptious these figures would be different

liquid, you really made me laugh hard.Google for:de-foreign-ministry-cost-of-open-source-desktop-maintenance-is-by-far-the-lowestof course the german foreign ministry is tiny and insignificant, has only 11.000 desktops and a bunch of servers.its not the number of cd-issues of an OS that counts, its all about productivity and costs.

Yet again you have failed to understand what my posts were about, is it that hard to understand a simple discussion? I didn't say WINDOWS VISTA IS BEST!!!!! YAAAY!!! no not at all, I'm just saying that hardly any people use Linux in comparison to both mac and PC, yet again google "OS usage statistics" and look for yourself. Oh and when you have done that, perhaps you should post an apology for being too stupid to keep up |
