Since the beginning of economic reforms two decades ago, the economy in China has produced real growth rates of between 8 percent and 10 percent per year. It is believed that China will continue to experience exceptional growth for decades to come at rates well above those of any other large country in the world. In this talk Professor Burton Malkiel discusses why China will enjoy growth rates of economic activity well above those in the developed world. A Random Walk Down Wall Street is a finance classic. This guy's understanding of financial markets in the U.S. (and I guess the whole world) is so thorough, and best of all, he's so good at talking about it. I wish I had more econ profs like him (but I'd never be able to get into Princeton).

nit picking - that is your virtue.

I disagree completely. Since he's an economist, he's talking about an uncertain future, but that doesn't mean he's uncertain of himself. And the humility he shows in addressing his audience, and the unhurried ease with which he speaks, clearly shows he's a man who has nothing to prove. Which, as the leading figure in efficient market theory, and the author of a great investing book, A Random Walk Down Wall Street, he doesn't.

his posture and the way he talks does not reflect his status. he is way too unconfident of himself.
