Try the update from mybebook com (right hand side of the page, under the NEWS). It adds mobipocket support and dramtically improves rendering times for PDF. The BeBook device is V3ext (the one with 512MB integral memory). I have LBook V3ext and it works excellent.

The refresh rate on the device is @ about 3 seconds per page but personally I feel the reading experience is still good. Since then the e-ink has improved though. The refresh rate has become so fast that animations are now possible. Devices with the new technology should hit the market in the near future.About the landscape mode for the pdf files: it´s basically the third zoom range, so it´s not possible to get the text bigger.

refresh rate of the pdf anime seems rather slow @4 seconds per page.A zoom-in on the grey areas of the reader would be nice,to show the different tints, as well as the dirthering.You're not able to zoom in the pdf files in landscape?(or take away the white border?)

Thanks for that review, very thorough. After watching it though I think the iLiad is probably the one I'll buy (assuming I can get it cheaper!)

отличная вещь, возможно необосновано дорогая, но стоит того чтобы переплатить, читать удобно, хранить тем паче.. если так дальше пойдет то бумага отомрет и леса зазеленеют))
