There is no strings on this song. Its Harrison using a combination of volume swells and guitar through a leslie speaker in which he was able to create the guitar sounds.

Agnes, I believe that 2-track was the standard for the day, far removed from the mono techniques of "She Loves You" and "I Wanna Hold Your Hand".I am open to correction, but 4 and 8-track didn't happen until "Sgt. Pepper" and "Abbey Road".First clue would be the heavy symphonic and sfx introduced by Sir Geo Martin on both albums. "Here, There..." is a simple melodic tune that a 2-track recorder could easily handle.
