He obviously loves classical grace and dislikes romantic slap in the face emotion ;) Honestly I like Mozart's dies irae better also, even if I like this one too, Mozart's is more than just dramatic. Not with Verdi as much, but when I listen to other romantic composers, I hear emotions and not music. The music itself is there to manipulate emotions and the details of it become unimportant.

How can anyone hate this piece!? 'Tis so incredably magnificent! So dramatic! The begining´s like falling down through a burning inferno, the worst nightnare imaginable described in music. No, this is a true masterpiece!
