No, that's right---that's why you never see the word "democracy in the Constitution...the Founding Fathers knew only too well what a genuine curse democracy really is----it means ten drooling retards have ten times as much say as you do in what the gov't does...that is why this country is dead meat.

Ethically thats plausible. But, politically it's too radical to implement. Think about the reaction to any candidate who suggests a death penalty for usury practise. It's too heavy for the majority to accept and democracy means majority rules. (that in fact is a fundamental problem - the majority doesn't necessarily seek the common good)

In Europe back in the MiddleAges and into the Rennaisance, they used to hang people for committing usury...I believe that punishment should be reinstituted here in America while we still have a country left.
