I have been open an account in this bank and no such thing as credit rating needed to open an account. just deposit money not ask for loan ain't it? if you ask for loan that is bank precaution not to offer you since you dont have sufficient evident to show to the bank you good lender..

this is not islamic bank account.I am Muslim and i have been at Hsbc branch to the account and i was declined thru credit scoring system. so obviusly not any muslim can go to Hsbc and open a halal account i am disappointed banks uses Islam into this while Muslim want to follow Shria are declined.

If the creators of money loan that money out and charge interest on it, where does the interest to pay them back come from? Only from more loans! Eventually, everyone is in debt to the system. See google video "Money as Debt".
