The line from NERAC to MEZIN is a section of the ancient SNCF line NERAC - MONT DE MARSAN. The section MEZIN - GABARRET was closed in 1952, GABARRET - MONT DE MARSAN in 1978. The last section NERAC - MEZIN has been used to carry wheat and maize until july 2007. Now, it is only used for the touristic train.
