The last experiment looks like plasma on the surface of the sun. I wonder if something similar is happening with the sun.

hehe yeah i find that weird, you'd assume you would try to be very soft on it.. nope, you will sing this way. You have to jump on it like a kid on a mattress.

exactly, i must admit, i am rather impressed that u brought up the non-newtonian fluid aspect. paint is another example only it behaves the opposite way this stuff does. just be careful when u try this because it is a *&^%$ to clean up if u make a mess out of it.
