In official report they say that the biggest wave in Khao Lak was 10 meters high. Is there any footage of this big wave? I haven´t seen that. BTW, is that the famous policeboat in the beginning of this video? Is there any pics of that boat?

He does not have 'ah-well-they-won't-make-it-out' attitude either, he just that said some people out there cannot come out. What else to say in this confusing situation.

He acts exactly like I think, I would have. He just does not understand what it is, which nobody here would have before this Tsunami happened. His wife in the first half of the video mentioned it might be an earthquake, which he says, no I dont think so. He simply does not understand what is going on there (his wife did not either, she just made a guess). When they started running he calmed his wife when she started panicking, "we can make it, we can make it, we are already higher".

I find the guy intensely annoying. Anyone who understands German would understand his 'ah-well-they-won't-make-it-out' attitude. The woman gets it all right, and he dismissed her thoughts as nonsense. Amazing footage though.

its amazing to think that was roaring towards people and they stood there admiring it, while others lay down beach towels to sun bathe.
