Space Marines good? They want to kill every other sentient lifeform in the galaxy - every alien, every undead, every human that doesn't believe in their religion. The emperium is probably the least 'good' army in the entire universe. Eldar are arrogant and war deliberately - but being a warhawk and being xenocidal aren't comparable. The dark eldar have a purpose to their raids and slaughter - they collect souls and slaves to serve in their society.

space marines don't always win, in the other dawn of war trailers they get mashed, like in the other one against the ork or the necrons

if u would know the lore better u would know that there are no good guys in 40k. The imperium(sm,ig,inqusition) are as evil as chaos they just do things a bit differently!
