If you had to think of the greatest known singers since music was recorded...Sarah has to be in the top ten. Some would even say she was the greatest of them all - what an absolutely brilliant sound she had. Why did she have to smoke?????

Sarah and Ella were both major and recognized nationally and internationally. Neither were traditional beauties. They're talent, charisma, and gift transcended that. I find conversations about their looks superficial. Here we have two of the most talented women to ever breathe air on this planet. That talent, their humor, their narrative voice and ridiculous skill with their instrument. Let's talk more about that. And let's leave the rest by the wayside.
