We practice the religion and Sanskrit language due to trade with India. Therefore, they were of much influence to Indochina, excluding the islands. When it comes to DNA — Cambodian, Laos, and Thai originated from Southern China and Southern Islands of Asia, a mixture of both. The genetics were already established prior to Indian influence. Plus, during a certain era, India was not physically a part of Asia yet, hence, why some do not consider them Asians. By technicality however, they are.

Omg! you never see light skinn Lao's people before. Cambodian people have darker skin and so does original Thai people. Some Dna can be trace to India. Thats where we got our religion.

Hi there oh lao poeple got yellow skinning especially in capital in lao and northern but in south they are dark ok lol Maybe you born in South that's y you got dark skinning lol.

i am Lao, but why are they so yellow? my family are dark and look nothing like them. Physically, they look vietnamese and might be mixed with that.
