The kite can be flown on all courses, even strait into the wind with the help of the engine. Fuel savings is possible on all downwind courses and reaching courses up to 45 degrees into the wind.

Looks good downwind but how does it go tacking close to the wind?

We were cruising between 7 and 11 knots. The F-10 kite system can be used on vessels up to 40 feet in length.

With the cost of fuel as high as it is, using wind power makes so much sense. Kite for Sail is truly an innovative leader in developing these systems and I know their work is going to revolutionize the way boats are powered. |
