Jerry wasn't only pantomiming a typewriter, he was pantomiming a person playing a typewriter for the Leroy Anderson piece. A little in this performance, and more in others, Jerry adds a lot of winks and nods and even sometimes stops typing all to say "look how well I can play this piece on a typewriter."

Yeah at about 55 seconds into the video and lasts for about 5 seconds. I still think it is overall good comedy.
