I would be pretty damn excited to know J Cash wanted to cover one of my songs. Pretty sweet to see a country singer doing a gothic rock song,or whatever you would call NIN. Pure GENIUS, Cash was a real ROCKSTAR.

I think Johnny Cash deserves a lot of respect for this song even if it really is Reznor's. He's been in the music scene for decades and I think he knew well why he chose a cover as his goodbye-song. Someone stated before that it was a bullshit move to go down in a blaze of glory...Well, even if he did it because of that, who could deny it from him after all those years? His call, one way or another: respect and rest in peace.
