Too much trouble for such an easy task! Three wounds, larger damage by dilating the artery, blood loss, cost of that devise :-( Tsk tsk tsk ;-[Unless u want to perform angio(graphy-plasty) through the radial (lol)

yes Lidocaine (Xylocaine), and true.. it is verrry dangerous, must be very careful when numbing the area, the pt might lose his arm if the anesthetic goes in the artery. :)
