So that's what those big freakin wings are going through San Antonio for. I've seen atleast...20 of these so far just driving to work. 1 of those wings take up a whole semi trucks' length, plus some.

I think its a good idea, and its better then having power generated by polluting factories.

...It's your Carpetbagger "Texan" Republican President from Maine that vetoed the subsidies for renewables and wants to have dirty nuclear power plants all over the place. He's the one working to get oil companies subsidies. Think about it for a little... I think it's a great idea - farm wind and have room for crops and cattle underneath.

I grew up in west Texas, and the wind blows pretty much all the time. Sometimes 40-50 mph. It kinda sucks to live there, but hell it's starting to pay off.

Now T Boone Pickens is planning the largest wind farm in the world in Pampa Texas. So here come the wind turbins. I kinda like the way they look.

These wind turbines are money makers and nobody will be walking away. The dude hasn't done the math on those towers, a subsidy isn't even required to make money. I live in ohio and the power comes from "clean coal"... Oh brother, our air is terrible, look up Ohio air compared to texas air, poor kids here have astma from birth.
