Which are for storing energyWTF?!?! There is not food thats for storing energy. You store fat when you exceed your caloric maintenance levels. That said, you can lose weight eating pasta and wheat products. You can lose weight eating from McDonalds so long you dont exceed your caloric maintenance levels. Please language yourself on the basics of nutrition before making false statements. It would a shame if someone took your statements seriously and applied it to their own diet.

and that's they are quick to come unlike pastas, bread, etc.Vegetables are harder to digest than pasta and bread or any wheat product. Wheat products are *faster energy* than vegetables, making her comment even more inaccurate.

Now lets examine your poorly thought out comment:"Vegetables are loaded with carbs."They're loaded with fiber and other complex carbs which the body has a very hard time digesting. Meaning that they ARE NOT fast energy. They are slow energy (taking up to 6 hours to use for energy) as opposed to fruit which is simple carbs, taking much less time to digest. I saw no fruit on that plate therefore her fast energy comment is bogus.

Y'all also have to understand that this guys metabolism is through the roof from all the exercise. Believe it or not, he's actually going to burn about 1/3-1/2 of those calories just from resting.

"She was referring to the quick carbs from the vegetables."There are no quick carbs in vegetables. The carbs in vegetables are the hardest to digest and metabolize of any carb out there. And she was wrong, protein is harder to use for energy than protein. |
