Wow, the classic clubs and classic fashion. Ever tried hitting a wooden club? They are hard to hit and even harder to find these days. Back in the day, they used less efficient material (wood) and smaller club faces. Seeing the scores they posted back then makes you wonder what they could shoot with today's equipment

Ben Hogan had figured it out about the lower body movement...It makes sense, turning your lower body first allows your hands and the club head to follow more of an inside path as opposed to starting with the shoulders which automatically takes the club head outside and off plane. I understand about the Lesson with the pro. I watched a pro give a lesson to a friend of mine, and he was instructing him to turn his shoulders on the downswing, he was pushing and slicing everything
