depends on which eee pc that you buy. some come with 915 chipset with isn't compatible with vista(i think)however you should be ok with the newer eee pc's just make sure after buying it upgrade the ram to 2 gb.

Oh! Yep, a huge difference! How weird...here in Italy the Celeron based Asus cost less than my Acer and the new Atom based one costs much more. If I lived in DK like you, I would probably spend all my money in salt lakrids! :D

1:13 "oh no! i dropped this AMAZING laptop 8 inches! its not broken? thats AMAZING!"... i have dropped my toshiba 3+ feet while it was running, and im commenting with it right now!

Hmm.. Well I live in Denmark and I'm buying a Eee 900 due solely to the prize. An Aspire One costs roughly £300 while the prize of the Eee has been lowered additonally now: It costs 180£. Huge difference in my opinion!

Before buying it, consider other alternatives. I used it for some time now and it's a very nice machine but the keyboard was not that easy to use for me. The right shift and the tab are really unusable in my opinion. The Samsung NC10, the MSI Wind and the Asus Aspire One (I recently this one) have a much better and usable keyboard and they cost more or less the same. Off course, this is just my 2 cents opinion :D |
