The scenes of him singing - he can't actually be singing because he's moving around like a puppet and his mouth is going at all sorts of angles and his head is bowed. Any vocal teacher would tell you on day 1 that you have to cut all that superfluous movement out. I guess the TV likes dramatic facial expressions and all that stuff.

What's not to like? he nails it... The emotion, everything. And who are you crabs to snipe at him for his looks. He looks fine! Have you seen Bill Gates' mug? What does it matter?

I really love Winterreise, and found this interesting... but I really can not get into Bostridge. His voice is not appealing to me, and find his technique a little 'iffy'. This is just my personal opinion... I know everyone likes particular voices... and this is not one for me. In terms of tenors singing Winterreise, I can not go past Christoph Pregardien.

No I don't actually, but I know somethings about Andses. For instance that he had a hard time getting a girlfriend when he was in his teens, early manhood. But I certainly think that there are men who look much worse than him.

Perkeno, I actually don't care how he looks. I'm not the least interested... I'm sure that Andnes doesn't care that much either. He's too busy with essential things. I refered to some other comments here. Anyway, in all, this video is a very nicely made.
