I'm starting to like Antoine more and more every time I listen to him.although I don't agree with some of his choices in the timing. but who am I, right?keep it up Antoine

Whenever I think of the current state of music, I listen to Antoine's songs and it refreshes my love for music and reminds me that there are still REAL songwriters out there. Not the ones who shape their songs to be a perfect three minutes for radio play. Antoine doesn't play for money, he plays for the love of music.

Optimistic and beautiful.

It is simply a quick up-down stroke on the E string with the thumb pick, then partially muted for the desired sound. This is a very fundamental part of antoine's technique, he does a quite a bit of alternate picking with only his thumb by use of the thumb pick. There's a good video somewhere out there on youtube where he shows a couple exercises to develop this skill.

wow. word

I think, the main rolling sound you're talking about is when he just finger picks the 3rd, 2nd, 1st string in a row, like a strum of it, and of course, there are some other things added in, but eh...

It has nothing to do with hammer-ons or pull-offs it's a quick thumbslap on the low E string followed by a muted upstroke and muted downstroke
