I wouldn't say he "won" this one. It's the same old tear-jerking sound bites that we've heard for 8 years. Bush only has a few lines which he recycles over and over again. I could almost predict a speech before hearing what he's said..

Hm, if only Bush was as good of a public speaker as he is an interviewer his approval ratings would probably have been much higher.

Bush won this one

This is probably the most convincing argument I've seen when it comes to Bush justifying his actions

In my view if people were able to eat better food then they wouldn't be blowing there livesup, So people who eat lobster don't want to commit suicide.

I know perfectly well what unconstitutional means; the text i'm referring to is the Constitution of the United States of America. My problem is that the inequalities in the world will only continue to grow as long as the rich nations keep on feasting on the poorer nations resources, just because they have have power to do so.

Fentel, this is where that inconvenient little subcategory of rhetoric known as "fact" becomes relevant. You posit a "great machine that seemingly runs the world." On what basis? You call the U.S. the least altruistic of western nations. Name one other nation that rebuilds a country after conquering it. Have you noticed that Germany, Japan, and South Korea are doing quite nicely right now? |
