Not verry for UK, much France and German who wanted to create an european orbital station. UK now are nothing for ESA, they don't know how to manage a space project. Ehey just subvention projects and not a lot (they didn't "make a donation" for ATV).)

Ariane project was officially agreed upon at the end of 1973 after delicate discussions between France, Germany and the UK.

Are you jocking? french-german? Ariane is a Franch project, with french techs (Ariane is lead by the French CNES). The rocket is launch from French guyana and the ARIANESPACE' headquarters are in France. European partners have joined the programm (including Germany), but Ariane is still mainly French (67% of the capital of ARIANESPACE) and Ariane V is still built by the CNES.

elle est sur un budget européen peut être mais j'ai regardé un peut et c'est la France qui détient le plus "d'autorité" a un plus grand intérêt dans la fabrication et dans l'exploitation. mais après j'aimerais savoir si l'EPC est récupérable malgré sa rentré dans l'atmosphère.

flofloren t'as faut .Le projet de lanceur européen Ariane fut proposé par la France en 1972 et est lancée en guyane française à Kourou mais ce n'est pas français mais Européen!

yes you understand quickly. ARIANESPACE is not ESA. They lauch for ESA and some Nasa and a lot other. It's french Arian is french Soyuz will become french because Russian space port is not good. They wonder at France to lauch their ricket at Kourou and the soyuz program is now a little french.

A meme Ariane est plus puissante que les navettes. Ce qui est bien c'est que l'ESA ou ASE pour les intimes Xd) construit un CTV. Crew transport Veicul. C'est Ariane qui va les lancé. En fait il reprenne l'ATV sauf qu'il mettent une casule de 6 astronaute je crois à la place du compartiment fret de l'ATV. Ils pourront ainsi envoyé leurs équipage sans passer par la navette à l'ISS. Il sont meme entrain de songé à conqurir Mars. Les Européens vont conccurencé la NASA!! chouette xD
