110 degrees? Ok, I'm an ATI fan myself (two 4870s ftw) but I think your card's fan may not be working. That's the only thing I can think of that would have it overheating that much.

i always had AMD and ATI graf cards. Then i thought it might be smart to go for Intel and Nvidia. What a stupid idea. no problems with the Intel tough, my 9800 GX2 is driving me nuts. it is constantly overheating, 110° Celcius. So i now upgrade to Watercooling.....Never again ill buy Nvidia, they suck, only good about Nvidia is the marketing. the rest is crap.

I've been with AMD and Nvidia for that same reason. I found ATI's support to be pretty crappy. Their drivers don't really work all the time. I have a 22" westinghouse monitor, 1680x1050 res. My mobo had a integraded xpress200, that at first found the correct monitor resolution. Suddenly, it couldn't, and my picture was all stretched. So I tried a old radeon 7000, same thing. Got a 8600GT, and that found it instantly. I like how the nvidia control panel you can put in manual resolutions.
