Actually, in that genre, middle-of-the-road indie, they're one of the best and most underestimated band. It's emulating classic folk-rock, that's not cheesy. The lyrics are too complex to call this simple. But the singles from Mojave 3 were never my fave tracks from them.

I can understand corm88's comment to some extent.. this is probably one of the best m3 songs, but it's SO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT and nothing like slowdive, it's too acoustic, too much like american country music with the annoying slide guitar.. it's just boring.. and that's a shame, because they had such potential.. mojave is just a dim shadow behind slowdive, always will be..
