Thanks for that DJM, it's madness to think the BBC didn't want the use of the Tardis etc, as Doctor Who had such a terrible, geeky image at that time, it would have been better to refresh in people's minds the things about the show that they'd always remembered as being good - especially as it was promoted on the BBC's own TOTP, aswell!

much of this classic video was filmed around where I live, Avebury is a mere 10 miles up the road from me, Cherhill (the opening shot with hill and white horse) is also roughly the same distance... The monument is also just outside Cherhill... drive past/through those places a lot! ps. did ya know that they weren't allowed to use the derlecks and tardis in the video so used robots and a police car to represent the tardis and derlecks instead!! ok... I'm gonna go before i bore ya now hehe!

Plus the daleks ideals don't differ much from Nazi any way (but then again why they would use a inferior human symbol is beyond me)

This is the first version I ever heard of this marvellous theme, long before I learned about the series behind it. You got to love the Ford Timelord running over the cheap Dalek Mockups. :) Cheesy but classic! :)
