i was so lucky to see it at film forum, greenwich village, nyc, with patti, lenny k, and stephen in attendance. patti played two songs after the film. she is as gracious and kind and gentle as the person she was looking for to take her photographs. the film is a dream. it feels and moves like one of her albums: poetry, rock n roll and art. we love you patti.

let me tell you I saw this last night. and it was amazing!I must have cried 6 r 7 times. Each sequence was like it's own short film with narrative and poems and music. So inspiring.Such a powerful voice.
