Exist, it's made by Elektron a Swedish based musical instrument company. It's expensive, better get MidiSidBox and heave the same results. Sid rulez forever!

What?? The SID chip was much more capable than the blippy-bloppy sounds the NES and Gameboy produced. It's celebrated to this day for being one of the most versatile and sophisticated 8-bit sound chips ever made. Why do you think this SID station even exists? It may be less accessible, but certainly not more limited than the inferior NES and GB RICOH chip. Do your homework. ;)

inphanta, yeah.. but its limitations are just so overwhelming. Most of the time a good idea is gonna sound alot better in other chiptune formats.

You see, this is what I'm talking about. 99% of the chiptune you hear nowadays is Gameboy and NES sounds, but the SID was FAR superior. Any kid with a laptop these days can make generic Gameboy techno, but for someone to harness the SID is to me much more impressive.
