that's different. have seen rats and mice eaten in movies to keep from starving. Never thought of them as a delicacy. we have a opossum here, that is basically a large rat, 5 to 10 pounds as adults. and i have heard of people eating them, however, not relay my idea of a good time. and yes im one of those Americans too. but i learned something today.

hey men, they eat rats not because they are poor but because rat meat is delicious. These rats live on rice fields and just eat rice. They are not sewer rats as you think. You can see their fur is yellow. The interviewed men explained it in Vietnamese, which meant : "they are clean and safe".
