You nailed it. Some people are just dissapointed in the responsiblity and are upset with the work they'll have to do to care for it. People need to realize that not all animals will constantly sit on your shoulder looking cute and perky.

It's amazing how many people are offended by this woman's advice. She's just trying to point out the possible issues an impulse buyer may have to deal with that they aren't prepared for.I love the expert below who negates everything she says. I agree with you, I would think more of these "owners" bashing the video host would be supportive and help her pass the word on about being well informed on this animal rather than calling her a liar.

what a bunch of morons commenting on this vid. the girl is trying to keep uneducated, whimsicle idiots from adopting a pet that takes a lot of caring. if you own and love a sugar glider, then this video is OBVIOUSLY NOT FOR YOU. Now go watch some vids of people getting hit in the nuts, that's obviously more on your level.

WOW, that Sugar Glider is adorable! And that girl in the video is gorgeous.

I read alot of these comments and alot of the negative ones seem like they are made because, either the person is offended because, they own the animal or want to own the animal or very immature. She didn't say NOT to own one. She is telling folks to research the pet before buying one. Gosh!!

because you would know what you are talking about and you dont. I am a proud owner of THREE suger gliders and i wouldnt trade them for anything in the world. They have never biten me to the point where they draw blood but rather a friendly nibble. And if you allow them to wake up before you start playing with them they dont pee or poop on you.

Also they do not just randomly bark in the middle of the night. Generally barking is caused because they are alarmed of something that is out of the ordinary happening or if they are startled like other animals and sudden and jerky movements. They get along well with other animals and have no fear only curiousity. These animals are no different that owning a puppy or a cat. ALL animals require alot of work and attention but sugar gliders require alot more research which you have done none of |
