How then..would you pay land tax if you don't have the chip! There goes the land. A person without the chip will be on the run anyway, hiding from authorities or those who want to report them. Can't buy seeds etc. can't get water..can't settle anywhere..nope..pretty much on the run.

"Why can't people buy extra land before all this stuff happens, and revert back to farming?"You'd better soon. There's going to be a lot of "land grabbing" pretty soon. That's one of the reasons for deregulating the banks (which "caused" the bailout), if you buy land through a loan from your bank, then the government bails the bank out by basically buying the bank, then guess what? The government now controls your land, and can oust you for any reason.
