It is very bright indeed I have it and It is great! Great value and now more, that its price has been cut down. but If you have a hd dvd player or a bluray player already I recommend buying a 720p proyector HD quality! for just 200 more bucks

keep in mind that it is being shown in a studio that is extremely well lit. I'm actually impressed that you can see it as well as you can in such a bright environment.

does not look bright at all. it says 1200, but I think it is 400-500 lumens.
