Sharia law isn't helping anyone and you know it. LEts compare to the north with the south? Are they safer? Are they living a better life than the South? Are they free?I'll say that Nigeria is not a free country but thr South has more political freedom than the North (They just force their children to do everything they want) and if someone breaks those law either they are killed or jailed for stupid stuff(example: Hip-hop artist in the North are being jailed for trying to be hip-hop musician

how you apply Islamic law when your country isn't 100% muslim ,Second if you study the principle of law you know nothing call Sharia law ,now the new science of criminal law said the punishment shouldn't affect the criminal people but study what the reason for doing the crime and try to fix them them and put them back to society not cut thier hand and the society lose them for ever ,wake up nothing call Sharia law ,maybe was good 1400 years ago in the arab desert not now .

Why should the poor man's hand be amputated for theft when many of the culprits in squandering over 400 billion dollars of Nigeria's mostly oil revenue are Northerners in traditional, religious, civilian and military positions of authority. Tafawa Balewa, Shehu Shagari, Muhammadu Buhari, Ibrahim Babangida, Sani Abacha, Abdulsalami Abubakar and Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, all past heads of state, except Yar'Adua who is currently and fraudulently installed Nigeria's president. What cruelty and hypocrisy!
