I'm agree that the verse sounds a little bit like Metallica. But dudes...Don't compare them anymore.You can't compare Ulrich with Portnoy. For example..DT RULES!!!!

Dream Theater works well for cover songs but Labrie is always sort of going WAY out of his way to be a heavier sounding vocalist. They should have two vocalists. Lots of bands do. I just hate it when they try and become this badass band and force James and his beautiful voice onto this bed of torture where he has to go against everything he has ever been taught about using his god gifted falsetto.
