The book by Isaac Asimov is a novelization of the screenplay; that is, the book is based on the movie, not the other way around. The film concentrates on action without trying to explain how miniaturization might be possible. Asimov's novel added a lot of technical details and para-scientifc explanations that aren't in the movie. It would be worth your while to see the film, read the book, and compare the two.

I remember seeing this movie years ago. Damn, was it was weird. Innerspace was also pretty good too, and it was heavily based on this movie.

I think there's another one that's simaler but I can't remember the name, it's about that this man who has cancer if I remeber right & he's planted a bomb somewhere & the code is inside his body some where & the only way to get to it is to go inside him after he had some kind of accedent

(yawn) i know i know, this movie dosen't suck, i just don't like it. i rather watch anime (yes with the hot anime girls and giant swords and unrealistic things)
