Jean-Luc-Ponty kicks ass plain and simple. way ahead of his time indeed. made love and partied many times to this terrific album.

Janpage I have never been to any of JLP's concerts, but I would have liked to seen his Atlanta concert. In my opinion albums like Cosmic Messenger, ect, were among my childhood favorites. However I do not prefer JLP's recent work. I am thankful my father exposed to music I might otherwise have never heard of. Thank-you for your reply to my prevous message.

Standasone, when I was teaching, I used to let my students listen to his music, some liked it, some didn't, but I enjoyed exposing my kids to something they weren't used to hearing. I've never seen JLP in concert, though he came to Atlanta in 2005, his tickets sold out quickly. I believe he is about 64 years old now, I think he still tours does he not? The contemporary violinists now have nothiing on him in my opinion.

Janpage my father introduced me to Ponty around 9 or 10 too. I remember sitting in my room listening to my father play his guitar along with this song. This song took my ears away from my own boring World, to a place of beautiful imagination. I miss those days, I tell you what if I'd mentioned to anyone at school that I listened to Jean Luc Ponty they'd been like "Huh, who's Ponty?" :)

I was turned on to JLP from my big bro's LP collection. I stumbled upon Imaginary Voyage in '76 or '77 and have been hooked since. This song however has rocketed to the top of the list!!!!! This is tight as hell!!! Viva JLP sempre!!!
