It must take a lot of fossil fuel to make all that hydrogen. Guess the good thing is that we can produce all the hydrogen, or electricity to make hydrogen, in China.

do you have ANY IDEA how much money Honda is spending on technology that deals with environmental issue?there were two pre-production FCX in the LA motorshow for the journalist to have a test drive.do you know how much they cost each?$10,000,000 USD.

Correction! The fueling system hooks up to your natural gas and PRODUCES electricity while HEATING your house water! Quick reminder of the hydrogen fuel it farms as well. :) awesome!

To janebusby: The FCX Clarity is already on sale in America, and it comes with its own fueling station which hooks up to the electricity and water and creates hydrogen. This is a genuine hydrogen fuel cell hybrid - like it says in the advert. Now, Toyota buy cheap green technology that Honda don't use and they put it into their cars, for example the Prius (SHIVERS! eugh). They are the ones doing what you say.Lovexxxx

Awesome car, but why make it look so ugly!

This is nothing but a PR stunt.Big badge auto makers make these eco cars to make themselves look good. There is more profit in building & maintaining the combustion engine unfortunately. So they have these 'eco cars' ready for production, but will ONLY produce them at the LAST available moment! IE. Either when the small independent firms make eco cars which threaten to outsell their conventional cars or when gas runs out!!! They're about as committed to the cause as Exxon or Mr. Bush are! |
