It is "Elton", not Elthon and he did not write any of his songs back then. Bernie Taupin wrote this and "Take me to the Pilot". Elton just put the words Bernie wrote to music.

Seen Elton 1974/5 in Glasgow,i was 14 years old, ive seen/heard many bands thru the years but Elton in the early 70's was the BEST.

What a song and debut album Elton has made back in 1970 (all 10 songs are extremely good)! Classical inspired but with much variation (some catchy rock songs between very deep ballads, and strange orchestrations). Also the quality of the studio-recording was very, very high. Pure class! One of my favourite albums all time!

does john sing when take me to the pilot . also basically to a higher person. like God. I don't believe in God. But did Elthon when he sings take me to the pilot did he sing on god?As he sings now on holy MOses there is a kind of religion in his songs..he is my brother. Ok there is a reliogious Elthon. maybe perhaps he was brought up Catholic or Christian. |
