i think the point of the video is that is 'sexy' but in a kind of strange, twisted way. it takes the cliche of a sexy video and makes it something else

Poe writes very intelligent music. Great lyrics and great music. It is a ery sexy song, so I would expect a sexy ideo... but I think she could have made a better video to go with this song. On the other hand, she proved she is hot in a bikini, so who can complain? Inteligence, creativity, great voice, and she is hot. It is good to be Annie Daniewlski. More power to her. Keep writing and singing great songs, Annie, and I think the videos will get better.

Agreed. If you just listen to the song it's rather haunting and exotic, mysterious even... particularly the passages from the book. However, the video is just plain campy. Awful costumes, silly mud wrestling. Seems very much the product of a detached producer saying, "Hey, this song isn't canned crap, the public will avoid it like the plague. Put the girl in a sexy neon outfit and have her mud wrestle. There, that's better."
