I think that was when Apple really went into orbit, when Steve came back; but you gotta admit, not many 23-year-olds make history and millions of dollars the way Steve did in a business that virtually didn't exist outside of the hobby market until he, Wozniak, Bill Gates and Paul Allen came along.

I would love to see more detail on how jobs returned to apple in 1997 and turned the company around. I found it more impressive then starting the company itself

Great, this guy is one of the most influential of our times, he has an established niche in computers, revolutionized the music business with the iPod and the iTunes Store and he is the largest stockholder from Disney, and now with the breakthrough iPhone. Apple is strong in music, computer, movies, and mobile phones, and it all clearly began with his return.

hard to say, he fails to mention some of the stuff jobs was doing, basically tearing them up from the inside out, while creating the macintosh. It was basically the Apple 2 vs the Macintosh, and many people were lost along the way. Scully didn't really make a bad decision as jobs seems to believe. |
