Lol I'm not even a Raiders fan, I'm just defending them in the name of football history as a whole. Sure, we live in the now, nobody wants to live in the past, but since we ARE a stat culture lately (within this game), you have to account and respect the previous foundation. Even though Steelers fans have a lot going for them "now" they still strongly relate to their past.You may never understand your future without having any concept of the past. But relax, it's just a game! -Give or take.

You can demoralize the current Raiders all you want, but these (80's) Raiders would give you nightmares. Howie Long, Todd Christensen, and Mike Haynes were not the sort of names you would take lightly if you were John Elway or Dan Marino.
