I see what you went with here, you picked up on the insignificant mention of my rounding 680,000 to a million, shame then there's a second source for this same vid with over 2 and a half million views, what rating? yea you guessed it 5 stars. don't feel bad tho, if i had as weak an argument as you, i'd be trying to pad it out with insignificant details.

im not overly enamoured with the animation either, but i think the real skill in this piece is the timing in the editing. its beautiful and really tender. ive watched it about a dozen times and its made me cry the majority of times! i also like that his life is summarised by 4 moments - his wife, the war, playing carefree as a child, and sharing his past with someone who is the future.

You're saying that you cannot criticize something unless you're able to achieve the same or even something better yourself. Why then are others allowed to say that this videoclip is 'good'? I judge this animation by the animations I have seen in my few years of existence, and I think someone should be able to do better already after the first year of his school of graphic design.

someone has to tell the truth. if you call 680115 nearly a million you probably aren't willing to face that. besides the world looks more interesting if you don't listen just to the majority but also listen to the opinion of minorities.
