he never liked doing these movies thats why they arent performed live he detested them so only a few were done live,love me tender was a good movie so thats why he sung it all the time,col parker had alot to awnser for,he was supposed to do a film with barbara striesand but tom parker wanted his name above striesands so it was axed kris kristoffeerson did it and got the oscar ithink (a star is born]

I don't believe so. The movie version is the only version I've ever heard. Movie songs (for the most part) stayed in the movies. There were some exceptions (Jailhouse Rock, Teddy Bear are a couple).
