I just bought Vue 7 Infinite. It took about 26 hours to render a 3 minute animation. I have 7 other computers, so next time I'll try the rendering on all of them.I'm still learning the software, so I don't have anything worth posting yet.

No, the modeling was done elsewhere, say Max or Maya. The aircraft and robots were not modeled in Vue.

too bad I don't have a server farm to render videos like this. Shit it takes me 48 hours for a 30 second clip.

Xboxes would over heat, and they dont have good enough processors/graphics cards ^^.

So how come you can supposedly do this in Vue6 as well? :S I don't see any update, but this software looks fantastic in the right hands, I really do need to sit down and work on Vue 6 lmao! I just can't get the hang of the camera movement! And does anyone know where I can buy some Professional Animation software? So I can animate items???

Yes, a lot of the shots are the same as in videos for previous versions of Vue, but they redid the shots, and rendered them using the new version. Same as in the past. So, what's in the video is done with vue 7.I had pointed that out on the site whenever they announced the new updated program. That's the explanation that they gave me.

From some researching Vue 7; one said the rendering time is 4x faster.. what usually took a 7hour render time half it too 2hr.50min which is pretty good. It doesn't seem they have a particle system yet for rain..but we'll see. :D |
